The "Chowkidar Concept" in Security has tainted the Indian Security industry in the past, when the client was only interested in the presence of a  healthy looking individual. Little importance was given to a guards background, training, skills, mannerisms, bearing and the equipment he carries to discharge his duties effectively.

The security guard room at the gate is "First Point of Contact" for any organization.  The first impression created on a visitor by the guards, does have considerable bearing on the image of an organization.

Times have changed - clients are aware that a guard "who cannot protect himself is incapable of protecting others property".  A guard equipped with a lethal or non lethal weapon is more intimidating, hence projects an image of being proficient in discharging his duties. Lethal weapons like fire arms are ideal but is prohibited by law and requires permission / license to be carried.  However a non-lethal gadget like a security baton, is permitted by law. In the recent past, during insurance claim investigations, number of cases have come to light, where guards has avoided challenging miscreants, since they did not possess any self protection gear.

Self protection is a cardinal requirement in security.   Our baton is not only meant for security guards but is an essential non-lethal gadget but each an every person. Such an accessory is required to be kept close at hand in your car while traveling, in intercity/state buses and in your homes designed security baton, can perform their duties with confidence and authority.
